Vineyard: Sourced from vineyards in Montemarano and Montemiletto in in the province of Avellino. Orientation: East (Montemarano) at about 600m in elevation. Southeast (Montemiletto) at about 600m in elevation. Soil: Clay, loam, sandstone.
Viticulture: Vines are an average of 70 years old in Montemarano. Vines are an average of 20 years old in Montemiletto. Hand harvested in the first week of November.
Vinification: 15/20 day fermentation using ambient yeast. Aging: Aged for 24 months in stainless steel followed 4 months in the bottle before release.
