Recommended wines for the Christmas lunch menu:
For the aperitif and appetizers, especially fried ones, sparkling wine is a must: Franciacorta Brut by Vezzoli is perfect.
At the start of the meal, we recommend a Sauvignon Blanc from Merano, ideal with fish bites and light appetizers.
For the first courses, such as tortellini in broth, we suggest trying a very delicate wine from Collio: Friulano DOP “Cru San Pietro.”
For the main courses, perhaps meat dishes, we’ve chosen an important and structured wine like Nebbiolo d’Alba.
