The “Poderi Aldo Conterno” farm is located in Monforte d’Alba, in Bussia, the heart of the typical Barolo wine area. The company that vinifies its grapes exclusively, is made up of 25 hectares of vineyards. Our Romirasco, Cicala and Colonnello crus located in Bussia di Monforte d’Alba represent the clear expression of the Langa terroir. Their wonderful south-south-west exposure enhances the nobility of the clay-limestone soil rich in calcium carbonate and iron typical of our hills. The wine has an intense ruby red color. On the nose, expressive on aromas of licorice, tobacco, aromatic herbs, small red fruits and spices, with balsamic and ethereal references. Austere, wide mouth. It develops with progression, stratifying sip after sip. Explosive finish, with notes of violet and leather.
