Another excellent year, 1999 was a particularly favorable year, whose rains in July and the moderate temperatures of summer led to a luxuriant vegetation. Sassicaia 1999 is the final gift of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc vines of the San Guido estate, vineyards that have not undergone any type of climatic stress during the vintage. The color is garnet ruby of good intensity, the ethereal aromas, enveloping, with notes of red fruit in alcohol, tamarind and some hints of dried flowers. More evident tannins and a bit more bitter taste, a sign of evolution, warm finish, of good length.
