From the name it is clear how much Angelo cares: it is dedicated to the eldest daughter Gaia and her grandmother, Clotilde Rey, who so often returns in her stories as the central figure of her own training. To do this, he takes care of his vines in a maniacal way and in the cellar we find only the best woods, cleanliness in the smallest details and general attention to every single detail. Nothing must escape and nothing will escape.
The first vineyard saw the light in 1979, in Treiso, in a soil that helps very well to preserve the acidity of the wine. Then, ten years later, a new vineyard was planted in Serralunga. Land that according to Angelo helps the wine even better than that of Treiso. It is produced in 19,300 bottles, and ages in oak barrels. It is a wine that, in order to be appreciated as it should be, needs to be aged for a long time in the bottle, not months, but years.
It has a broad and complex bouquet of ripe yellow fruit, vanilla and yellow flowers, with hints of spice, wood and a great minerality. In the mouth it is enveloping, savory; endowed with great freshness and an infinite persistence.
